BUFFALO, N.Y. — After a cooler and breezy hump day, temperatures warm and rain chances will return heading into the weekend.
Thursday we will still be on the cool side with morning lows in the upper 50s and afternoon highs in the mid 70s. A few scattered showers will develop around lunchtime and after, especially south of Buffalo. They'll be isolated in nature, so much of Western New York will remain dry. Friday looks great, with plenty of sunshine and a high near 80.
Our next rainy weather system arrives late Friday night and will likely bring showers and storms for a bulk of Saturday. Around a quarter to half an inch of rain could fall through the day Saturday, so having a "plan B" for Saturday is a good idea.
