BUFFALO, N.Y. — Scattered snow showers are likely during the first half of Saturday. The air will be chilly and fairly dry, making for a more powdery snowfall than what we saw early this week. Accumulation isn't expected around Buffalo but a few higher elevation spots in the Southern Tier may get a coating of fresh snow.
Saturday's highs will be in the mid 30s. Sunday will be a couple of degrees cooler. Both days will bring a gentle but chilly northerly breeze around 10 mph.
Sunday will be dry and mostly cloudy.
Chilly but quiet weather will last through most of next week too. High temperatures will climb little by little each afternoon. Monday will be in the low 30s. Tuesday will be in the mid 30s. Wednesday through Friday should be close to 40 degrees. The next chance for precipitation holds off until next Friday, the 11th. Even then it only looks like some scattered rain and snow showers.
